Acrylics & Neocolor 2 pastels

Liquitex Matte spray varnish is my favorite way to seal Neocolor 2 pastels. Whether I’m going to add another layer or ready to brush on the final varnish, this will do a great job of fix the pastels so they won’t smear. It might take 2 or 3 light coats.

It’s water-based and low odor but should be sprayed outdoors. If the spout ever clogs, a fine beading needle can be used to clear the tiny hole on the yellow nozzle tip.

Currently this spray not available on Amazon, but Michael’s, Jerry’s Artarama, and Dick Blick all carry it. Make sure it looks like this picture since Liquitex makes a number of products.
