Studio Loreen Update

After beavering away in my studio as usual, it’s about time to share some of my recent artwork. As usual, the forms, patterns, and textures are inspired by nature, while the colors are often more intense than reality or completely improvised. I enjoy experimenting with texture paste, water soluble wax pastels (Neocolor 2), and occasionally collage. The plan is to post additional pieces in a portfolio section on this site as well as on IG and FB (see follow buttons below.)

I greatly enjoyed being in a membership gallery starting last November that unfortunately closed in the summer. In addition to creating artwork, I assisted with the web site, helped hang the new shows, and got to know many wonderful artists. Recently my husband and I have been visiting various galleries in the surrounding central Florida counties and I hope to join another one soon!
