Artwork and Gallery and More, OH MY!

[UPDATE: The Gallery 32789 has permanently closed as of May, 2025. It was an enjoyable and educational experience while it lasted!]

After remodeling my former office and art studio (and removing all non-art-making stuff) in 2021, I’ve spent the time since experimenting with various paint, papers, pens, pencils, and other supplies that don’t start with a P. Some canvases were so not-what-I-wanted that they had to be painted over. The resulting texture was intriguing, so I started buying texture mediums too. Many paintings, collages, and mixed up media artworks were the result.

Long story short, I applied to a membership gallery on Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida and I’m IN as of last month (November, that is.) It’s been so inspiring to be in a collective with other artists and one of my pieces has sold already! That sounds so braggy but it’s been a longtime dream to sell my original artwork so hope nobody minds.

As of yet, I don’t know have much of a clue about any of this, but it’s going to be fun to figure it out (and a lot of work, lol.)
