Pingo the Plaid Panda
|
||||||||||||
| Pingo thinks the other pandas dislike him because he is plaid. He doesn’t realize that he is acting rather unfriendly himself. He goes incognito by dyeing his fur to resemble everyone else. Pingo acts friendlier, and finds out that the other pandas thought he didn’t like them. Everyone learns to stop jumping to conclusions. Art: Pen and ink with watercolor. “...this is a lighthearted story written in rattlingly rhythmic prose with wonderfully described action.” School Library Journal Pre-K to Grade 3. 32 p. Full color art. Holiday House, 1988. (0-8234-0727-6). |
